  Master Scheduler

  We have a rewarding opportunity for a Master Scheduler at our Santa Clarita, CA facility!

  As our Master Scheduler you will be responsible for company's production control functions . You will plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor final approval of products through the complete production cycle . You will work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Also, coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. and may serve as a team lead.

  Location: Santa Clarita, CA

  Salary Range: $91,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

  Your Challenge

  Maintains master schedule for the organization; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.

  Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with program management, logistics, and operations departments.

  Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve customer needs.

  Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.

  Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.

  Participates in periodic forecasting meetings; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.

  Provides input to management regarding problems such as scheduling problems, material shortages, design changes and backlogs.

  Provides direction and leadership for lower level employees.

  Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures

  Develop KPI to measure and report organizational performance.

  What You Bring:

  Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  5-10 years’ Capacity planning experience

  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  Extremely proficient with ERP systems such as SAP.
