As a successful Master Scheduler, you will applyadvanced production management concepts to ensure continual flow ofproduction to meet changing customer demands. This person will supportthe business through supply chain activities, inventory analysis andmaintenance and creation of processes. The Master Scheduler will beresponsible for the creation of daily and weekly schedules accountingfor asset capacity, resource assignments, inventory availability, anddemand priority. The Master Scheduler will report to the Supply ChainManager Summary Responsible for effective shop floor scheduling whichincludes setting priorities, tracking product status, and deliveringtimely information to engineering, operations, quality, and purchasingMonitor material flow and identify any bottlenecks in the process;troubleshoot issues to the root-cause and implement corrective actionsGenerate current & future capacity models for assigned areas based onbusiness forecasts, manning, and equipment; recommend improvements tooptimize production capabilities Utilize manufacturing data and reportsto drive key insights into efficiency, utilization, production rate, andother performance metrics Basic Requirements An Associate\'s degree 2years of production planning and scheduling experience 1+ years ofexperience with Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications 2+ years ofexperience with ERP systems 2+ years of experience with capacityplanning in a manufacturing environment Essential Skills Excellent oraland written communication skills with the ability to communicateeffectively with all levels of employees, external customers, suppliers,and vendors Effective at identifying areas for continuous improvementand implementing lean concepts to improve efficiency and productivityStrong attention to detail and project management skills We thrive whenthe expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
