About Master Limited Partnership (MLP) Tech Associate - Summer / Fall 2024

  A career in our Partnership Allocation and Reporting Solutions Technology practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. Our team helps organizations with Tax reporting for large or complex partnership structures. You'll be part of team that is organized into three core functional areas: tax team, client team, and technology team. Both the client and tax teams directly leverage their subject matter expertise against a variety of custom applications to deliver a high level of value to our clients.

  As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.   Play an integral role in providing monitoring and diagnosis of technical issues with production systems to our clients as a professional in PwC's Master Limited Partnership practice.

  Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year of educational requirements.

  

  Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success with a solid academic understanding of advanced programming concepts and object oriented design patterns, emphasizing data structures and algorithms and leveraging the following technologies and concepts:

  MS SQL Server 2008 or 2012;Visual Basic.Net;C#.Net ;.NET Framework;ASP .NET and/or ASP .NET MVC;Visual Basic .NET;Database Design, MS SQL;HTML;Visual Studio .NET;MS Teamsystem; and,Software Development Lifecycle, Agile Methodologies (Scrum, etc.).

  Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success interacting with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communications, emphasizing a client-service orientation to leverage creative problem-solving skills, execute various deliverables simultaneously as both a team member and independently, and research and deliver results of pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.

  Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success as a tax technical professional researching business and industry trends to develop a point of view to leverage in assisting with proposals.

  Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success with automation & digitization in a professional services environment including:

  Innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions; and, Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.
