We are looking for a talented Master Black Belt Manager to join our team specializing in Operational Quality for our Power Systems Division in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Serves as the subject matter expert in support of ongoing continuous improvement processes to enhance business results and customer loyalty.
Provides expert knowledge and guidance in the application of quality improvement tools and processes.
Champions quality improvement processes and methodologies.
Independently lead the initiative/training
Define umbrella project plan and deliver outcomes defined by key stakeholders
Training content development and delivery for capable adult learning effectiveness
Independently engage with senior leaders for goal tree, hopper and strategy alignment
Ability to understand profit and loss and link projects to each initiative in goal tree as part of hopper development
Coach and support black belt and green belt talent
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Minimum of 7 years professional experience; 2 years minimum internal Cummins experience strongly preferred;
Advanced/well-developed skills and knowledge within a specific professional discipline involving the integration of theory and principles with organizational practices and precedents; Black Belt Certified
Support Initiative Owners (IOs) in Workstreams/Sub-Workstreams (WSs/SWSs) with initiative execution using different 6S/CI problem-solving methodologies and tools to successfully deliver improvements.
Support other (non-transformation related) 6S projects in Functions/LOBs through to closure.
Execute initiatives as MBB IO, as required.
Facilitate judging and selection of Impact Award winners through the annual cycle.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $100,000.00-150,000.00. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
