  THE OPPORTUNITY

  We are looking for a talented and motivated Marketing Intern. During your internship you will interact with various departments from our team in Portugal and gather hands-on experience within the Human Pharma area. The internship will run for one year and you will have the chance to experience different challenges across different departments.

  You will be working from Boehringer Ingelheim’s offices in Portugal.

  YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Working together with Brand Management in the development of the Integrated Customer Planning (ICP) for the therapeutic area;

  Actively participate in the forecasting process and regular budget management;

  Identifying and implementing value adding customer activities across in coordination with the brand managers (e.g. customer programs, (digital) material development and production);

  Participating on multi-channel campaign development, content strategy and optimal channel execution;

  Working together with the different Brand Teams to build and continuously improve customer journeys integrating learnings, field intelligence, and market research ensuring clear and measurable KPIs;

  Provide innovation through testing new marketing channels, new types of content media and new channel execution strategy;

  Responsible for the day-to-day executional support on all digital activities for all BI channels (example: websites, emails, Social Media, surveys,..) to ensure efficient and effective use of channels by the TAs. Further, consult and up-skill TAs in omni channel marketing, based on data-driven insights.

  WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM?

  Your passion, creativity and enthusiasm;

  Educational background in Marketing, Business Administration, Economy or similar;

  Previous work experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered a plus;

  Excellent command of the Portuguese and English language is mandatory;

  Digital Acumen;

  Profound knowledge of standard MS Office programs;

  Good interpersonal and communication skills;

  Customer oriented approach;

  Accountable: Prioritizes work and drives execution excellence through accuracy, discipline and collaboration;

  Evidence of strong teamwork and communication skills;

  Evidence of effective problem – solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
