About Job Captain

  Description:

  Workload will consist of housing, medical offices, and hospitality design

  You will be working through revit and sketchup software to move projects through each phase of architecture.

  Most projects will be ground up design but there are also renovations.

  This role is desired to be leadership and client facing as well, which means both production and business development will be part of the role responsibilities.

  Through the end of the year most energy will be toward workload, transitioning to more business development responsibilities after the pipeline eases up.

  Knowing the constuction process and how to handle construction documents (CDs) will be crucial to success in this role. This will allow you to ensure accuracy from all parties through project completion.

  Main tasks to know:

  Experience of how a project comes together (touch of a bit of each phase)

  Need to be a good communicator - very essential; will be communicating plans and drawings to clients and to vendors

  Looking for someone that is can provide input while still understanding production responsibilities

  Having experience with putting a building together from start to finish via Revit model

  The defined mission is providing affordable housing to those in need

  The role will support diverse and new ideas and input to projects and to processes

  Skills:

  Revit, Residential design, Construction document, interior architecture, renovation, ground up, hospitality, medical office, construction administration, affordable housing

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  The pipeline includes housing, medical office and hospitality. Housing background would be most aligned but there is correlation from Medical office and Hospitality work that will help this perosn be successful.

  Knowing the construction admin role will help you share knowledge and know construction processes.

  Experience Level:
