The Marketing Strategy Specialist is a critical connector whose work supports all parts of the Global Marketing Strategy team. The specialist will bring a meticulous attention to detail, superior acumen for using technology, and a passion for learning the art and science of marketing. The Specialist’s core responsibilities are:
Utilizing modern marketing technology and supporting the team’s adoption of the MarTech stack
Conducting research to capture and organize information as inputs to marketing strategy.
Creating, editing, and proofreading internal presentations, reports, and communications
Managing non-labor expenses from PO to payment and budget reconciliation
Supporting the SVP of Global Marketing Strategy with fast-paced meeting scheduling and proactive calendar management
This role offers a unique opportunity for an uber-accountable individual who is passionate about marketing to learn and gain hands-on experience by working with different facets of a high-performing, global, B2B marketing strategy team.
Administrative responsibilities
Manages the end-to-end processing of non-labor expenses. From purchase order to payment, ensures timely processing, coding, and reconciliation of non-labor expenses.
Supports the SVP, Global Marketing Strategy with scheduling meetings, proactive calendar management, travel bookings, expense processing, and other duties as required to support best-in-class Marketing Strategy function.
Takes notes during meetings and distributes summaries reflecting decisions and action items.
Drives team effectiveness by supporting the adoption, training, and utilization of the MarTech stack.
Manages existing processes with a keen eye toward process improvement. Ensures the following resources are consistently updated and easy for Parexel team members to use.

Company-wide global events calendar
Marketing-authored content on Highspot
Contact data in SFDC.
Marketing performance data to analyze awareness and engagement
Shared document storage and organization for the Marketing Strategy team, Thought Leadership Council, and other material shared with vendors or other internal teams
Assists with marketing performance tracking, analysis, and reporting
Early adopter of new technologies and processes; assists others in learning and utilizing new tools
Drives efficiency across the Marketing strategy team
Prepares a range of routine and non-routine materials in alignment with brand standard. Includes slides and reports for internal presentations.
Creates new calendar of cross-channel promotional tactics – responsible for visual design, identifies content, determines technology for deployment, designs process for ongoing maintenance, captures user feedback
Manages the end-to-end process of promotional swag orders for internal personnel and dealer network, ensuring punctual delivery, precise inventory management, and alignment with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
Supports CRM administration including data entry, reporting and knowledge management
Manages tight deadlines to ensure SVP sign-off of event contracts.
Education
BA or BS in Marketing or related field is preferredBackground/Experience
4 to 6 years’ experience minimum
Working with a global team a plus
Previous experience in a marketing, communications, or business development team or executive support
