We are currently seeking a Marketing Project Manager in the Marketing department, reporting to the Director of Business Development, Client Development and Campaigns.
The Marketing Project Manager will play a crucial role in steering the successful execution of projects within the organization. This multifaceted position demands a dynamic individual who can effectively manage project briefs, oversee digital marketing initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of quality across all project deliverables. The role is pivotal in maintaining the alignment of projects with the organization's strategic goals, brand guidelines, and budgetary requirements. The manager is expected to be adept at multitasking, handling multiple short and long term projects simultaneously while ensuring that each one adheres to the set timelines and quality standards. This role requires a high degree of collaboration and communication, as the manager will work closely with various internal teams and external partners to bring projects to fruition.
In this capacity, the manager is not just an overseer but also a key communicator and problem-solver. They are responsible for setting up and adjusting project timelines, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring that all team members are aligned with the project deliverables. The role involves a significant amount of coordination and negotiation, as the manager must balance the needs and inputs of diverse groups, from creative teams to technical experts and Business Development partners. Effective communication is paramount in this role, as the manager needs to keep all parties informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. The role is eligible to work remote but candidates must be located in California or Texas.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Project Briefs & Creative Execution:
Manages project brief intakes and collaborates with channel partners to ensure clarity and alignment of objectives.
Sets up, adjusts, and oversees project timelines to facilitate efficient and effective execution.
Ensures timely communication across teams, maintaining project alignment with budgetary constraints.
Prioritizes tasks and resources to guarantee on-time delivery and budget-conscious project completion.
Digital Marketing Project Management:
For large projects, constructs and manages detailed project plans, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
Utilizes project management tools such as ClickUp for tracking progress, and continuously optimizes workflows for efficiency.
Coordinates with key stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables, ensuring accountability and alignment with organizational goals.
Provides regular updates to leadership, promoting transparency and enabling informed decision-making.
Multi-Project Oversight & Strategic Campaign Deployment:
Manages a diverse portfolio of projects simultaneously, working across various teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrates the capacity to handle high-volume projects from intake or ideation through to execution and optimization.
Adapts to changes in the market and business landscape, maintaining project relevance and effectiveness.
Ensures clear communication of timelines, approvals, and changes for comprehensive team understanding and collaboration.
Copyediting & Document Management:
Edits non-technical documents to align with firm standards, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
Builds and maintains collaborative relationships, fostering effective communication with internal and external partners to support project success.
Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
10+ years of digital marketing expertise focused on cross-team execution
5+ years of law firms or professional service environment expertise
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing or Communications
Expertise in Interaction, Vuture, RubyLaw and Foundation; or similar programs
Expertise in project management methodologies and tools such as ClickUp, with a proven track record of managing digital marketing projects
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with team members and stakeholders
Adaptability and problem-solving skills, able to navigate changes and challenges effectively
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all project aspects
Proficiency in copyediting and document management, ensuring all communications are clear, concise, and accurate
