What we are looking for in a Marketing Project Manager:

Our future Marketing Project Manager will report to our Creative Chief and work hand-in-hand with our Consumer and B2B marketing leaders to develop project plans that encompass the strategy, development, and execution of marketing programs. You will also orchestrate those activities to completion across our internal and external creative and production teams, as well as agency partners. You will also function as our operational manager, mapping and improving our workflow processes, developing tracking and reporting processes, be the system admin on project management and DAM tools, as well as managing our administrative activities such as contracts, and department budgets.
This position is based in our Salt Lake City, UT (Cottonwood Heights) office. We are looking for candidates who can work in office 3 days a week with flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.
A day on the job may include:
Develop and maintain project plans for both Consumer and B2B marketing programs, from strategic planning through creative development, production and delivery.
Onboard and assign projects across the creative and development teams, leveraging our project management systems (Trello, BaseCamp), and overseeing efficient execution of the team's work with your deep understanding of dependencies across digital channels, as well as production processes.
Maintain status and resource planning reports, ensuring the team members' time is optimized in a positive manner and we maintain a great team culture.
Bring your knowledge of creative production processes, including photography, video, and animation, and support creative leaders in managing internal/external teams and budgets.
Coordinate with external vendors, managing budgets and communicating the status of creative production work.
Understand and facilitate media asset development and ad trafficking for multiple media channels, and ensure we deliver on deadline.
Maintain the department budget, and work collaboratively with our finance team to keep up-to-date reporting.
For smaller projects, function as our production manager who identifies vendors and manages the production process.
Verify final marketing assets, to ensure they align with campaign objectives and messaging priorities.
Help develop talent and support a positive environment with a mindset of progressive problem-solving and brand building.
This job may be for you if you have:
5+ years of marketing project management experience in a brand-driven, performance marketing agency or progressive in-house marketing organization.
Proactive and clear communication skills, with strong capability in documenting project plans and processes.
Solid team-building skills and an ability to work cross-functionally with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer and B2B marketing, and experience driving brand campaigns and activations.
Experience in people management; a positive change agent with an ability to lead others through change and growth.
Out-of-the-box thinking and can-do attitude are a must.
Telecommunications, technology or electronics experience is helpful.
PMP Certification is a plus.
