Location: Remote – Anywhere in UT (preference for the Greater SLC area)

Compensation: Anticipated compensation for this position is $16.61/hour.*

Job Summary

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Event Intern to join our team! This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in event planning and management. As an Event Intern, you’ll support our events team in executing a range of exciting events.

This is a minimum 6 month and preferred 9 month and requires approximately 20 hours per week.

Essential Job Functions

Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events

Coordinate event logistics, including vendor communication, and working directly with our Leader in Me schools

Support marketing and promotional efforts, such as creating social media content or event flyers

Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining databases, organizing materials, and compiling post-event reports

Basic Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.Preferred Skills Experience

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute changes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with event management software

Proficiency in Canva
