Open Road Integrated Media is looking for a Marketing Coordinator, Sales Channels. This position will play an integral role in supporting revenue growth and customer retention by focusing on the operational aspects of sales and marketing – the backbone of many key initiatives.
This role is responsible for the management and ongoing improvement of specific data flows that are fundamental to the success of our promotional efforts. This role will be afforded a birdseye view of various facets of book marketing that are informed and influenced by data, acting as the glue connecting many different functions and liaising with key stakeholders across the marketing, production, and sales teams.
The role reports to the Director of Marketing Analytics.
Ideal Candidate: is a process-oriented thinker with a strong knowledge of Excel, persistent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, as well as an analytical and curious mind; is not easily flustered but also is not afraid to ask for help when needed. Communication skills are strong and is interested in – or comfortable with – working with a variety of teams, particularly internal stakeholders.
Essential Functions
Manage ebook promotional pricing processes from start to finish, including uploading grids to TMS and DAM systems and pushing through to distribution channels, ensuring successful pricing for campaigns, and troubleshooting issues
With data and analytics teams and using proprietary tools, establish optimal list prices for forthcoming titles to maximize revenue potential
Perform ad hoc analyses of publisher performance, campaign performance, pricing, and additional areas of the business as needed, and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders
Suggest process improvements and, with relevant teams, contribute to the definition and implementation of changes in the spirit of continual improvement
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, statistics, or related field
1-2 years experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLookup, pivot tables, charts; Amazon Retail Analytics and SQL are a plus)
Persistence in attention to detail, problem-solving, and identifying and adapting to challenges as well as creating solutions
Ability to prioritize and manage tasks from multiple points of contact
Adept analytical skills with proven ability to dissect large amounts of data and turn it into actionable initiatives
A knowledge and love of books and reading
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary range will be $50,000.00 -$55,000.00.
