Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Communications Specialist will help create and share insights on The Waldinger Corporation across digital and print platforms. This position plays a key role in communicating to internal and external audiences, designing promotional materials, upkeep of various social media platforms, and developing multimedia content, including photo, video, and written copy. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across the organization to tell stories about Waldingers people, projects, and commitment to customers and the community.
Job Duties:
Collaborates with team members across the organization to develop content for newsletters, website, social media, email campaigns and the intranet.Write, edit, and post content for intranet, email, newsletters, web, internal and external social media, video, digital signage, and press releases.Assists the Director of Marketing and Communication to ensure consistency in the messaging, branding, content, and look and feel of all internal and external communications and marketing materials.Coordinates and/or executes photography and videography for special events and general marketing needs.Creates and maintains Waldinger intranet, web site, and social media content, ensuring content is accurate and up to date, engaging, and optimizes performance.Supports strategic marketing priorities in the creation of content and tracking of program success.Edit various content assets and ensure alignment with established branding or messaging guidelines.Support event planning and management for internal teams to ensure a high impact experience.Manage and oversee the company stores and brand apparel programs.Assist in creating engaging presentations, including interactive features for both live and virtual audiences.Maintains organization and documentation of Waldinger creative assets.Key contact for third-party relationships regarding print fulfillment, marketing agencies, web development, branded merchandise, and more.Fulfills marketing related requests for internal teams in need of signage, branded merchandise, website content, etc.Coordinates with multiple departments to define project requirements, create timelines, ensures content accuracy, and meets budget criteria.Performs other work duties as assigned.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, English, Advertising, or equivalent business experience preferred.3-5 years of communications or marketing experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite.Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint, website CMS, Canva.Strong journalistic skills, including writing, editing, and visual storytelling.Ability to write for traditional and digital channels, translating complex information into clear and creative content that is accessible to a variety of audiences.Good eye for design, experience collaborating with graphic designers and ability to create small intranet and email banner designs.Strong organizational skills, with high level of attention to detail.Self-motivated, enjoys learning new things, and demonstrates reliability and professionalism.Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and work well with a variety of different individuals.Demonstrate the ability to live Waldingers values of care for people, care for customers, getting it right and doing it right.The Waldinger Corporation is a full-service mechanical, electrical, sheet metal and service contractor operating under a people-first approach.
