Duties may include: reforest, protecttimber tracts, sow seed; lift seedlings from nursery beds, place shadematerials beside seedlings, net/ tube (place small plastic tubes overseedlings); mulch, post-plant hand scalp (remove excess vegetationaround seedlings); apply repellent or fertilizer to seedlings & otherforestry related activities as per Forestry & Land Management GeneralForestry Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 45-4011 (onetonline.org).Perform physical activities: lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle,position, move, manipulate materials use static strength-exert maxmuscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50lbs. Attn todetail; complete work tasks timely. Outdoors, exposed to weather; mustbe capable physical strenuous labor long hrs, occasionally in extremeheat/cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hrs may fluctuate (+/-),possible downtime/ OT. Employer comply w/applicable Federal, State,local laws pertaining to OT hrs. Wage may vary. DOE Possible daily/wklyhrs: 7AM-3:30 PM. M-F 35-40 plus/hrs wkly, includes lunch break. No min.edu. No exp. reqd. OJT. Must show proof of legal authority to work inU.S. Drug, Alcohol, Tobacco free work zone. Must be 18 yrs age duetravel. Wage Range: \$15.39-24.44/HR OT\$23.09-36.66/HR Wage may varyper location: ID: \$23.84-24.44/HR OT\$35.76-36.66/HR WA:\$20.67-24.16/HR OT\$31.01-36.24/HR MT: \$17.31/HR OT\$25.97/HR OR:\$20.67-21.10/HR OT\$31.01-31.65/HR CA: \$15.39-17.16/HROT\$23.09-25.74/HR AZ: \$23.19/HR OT\$34.79/HR Work site(s): Transportprovided, designated locale to job site at no cost to worker; begin:Medford, OR: continue multiple areas in following States:WA-OR-ID-MT-CA-AZ. Transport/subsistence reimbursed (by first paycheck)most reasonable transport available, cost from place which worker hascome to work for employer, whether in U.S. or abroad, to place ofemployment. Once worker completed 50% of employment period, transportcosts (most efficient carrier cost), & subsistence costs reimbursed toworker. Upon completion work contract or where worker dismissed early,employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs returntransport/ subsistence back home or to place worker originally departedto work, except where worker will not return due to subsequentemployment w/ another employer. Amount of transport payment orreimbursement will be equal most economical/reasonable common carrierfor distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at rate of\$15.46 per day during travel to max of \$59 per day w/ receipts.Offering worker employment for a total # of work hrs equal at least ofthe workdays of each 12-wk period, if period of employment covered byjob order is 120 or more days, or each 6-wk. period, if period ofemployment covered by job order or is less than 120 days, in accordancew/ 20 CFR 655.20(f). Employer provided tools, supplies/equipment w/ocharge/deposit. Misc. a single workweek as standard to compute wagesdue. Wage pd every 2-wks. (possible weekly). All deductions reqd. by lawwill be done by employer. The employers optional housing is provided atno cost to worker. Will reimburse H-2B worker first workweek paycheckfor visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, toextent reqd. by law, including those fees mandated by U.S. govt.incurred by H-2B worker, not including passport or other fees notprimarily for benefit of employer Carpool contributions are optional andnot a condition of employment: Car pool contributions up to \$35 per wk.Company makes available company ve icle after hrs for reasonablepersonal use; contributions up to \$35 per wk to help cover costs ofpersonal use will be deducted based on mileage. Terms, conditions inadvertisement are those reqd by H-2B regs which state the full extent ofH-2B workers rights and remedies. Alpha will provide those benefits asspecified in the regs @ time work is performed.
