Job Description:
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in all aspects of marketing and sales analytics, including data mining, origination and iteration of analysis, and data visualization. This role is committed to transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports with actionable insights for continued innovation and business growth. The candidate is naturally curious and has a strong desire to solve business problems with data. Role reports to Senior Marketing Analytics supporting key marketing projects in analytics spanning brand, campaign, sales, and marketing operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform data analysis on multiple data sources, consolidate multiple data sets and analyze the data accurately and efficiently
Synthesizes data to create presentations with fact-based, quantitative recommendations
Analyze business processes, identify needs for advanced analytics solutions, and convey those insights to non-technical stakeholders
Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
Build and enhance Tableau and/or Power BI dashboards
Document data sources, report/query logic and communicate findings
Qualifications:
Requires four years' experience with marketing/sales data, data analysis, data integration, and data visualization projects
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI and advanced SQL knowledge performing complex database operations and working with a data warehouse
Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SAS, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
Experience working with non-technical sales and marketing stakeholders
Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and data analytics
Experience developing business requirements and working on projects related to data quality, data strategy, and source to target mapping
Ability to identify ways to integrate advanced analytics solutions into existing business processes
Ability to work within cross-functional teams in a collaborative and distributed team environment
Flexibility to quickly shift focus to support priority projects
Shows a high degree of comfort with ambiguity and able to confront obstacles and still accomplish goals
Demonstrates critical thinking and is highly detail oriented
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
