Job Description
DUTIES : Manage the development and execution of channel optimization and marketing plans in support of the North America Regional Marketing team and Bioscience sales force that sells the Biosciences product portfolio in a dynamic market environment.
Coordinate closely with the Bioscience Global Market Development team, and partners at various levels in the company to help develop and execute marketing plans and positioning.
Partner with Business Units, Sales, Corporate Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Digital Marketing to execute integrated marketing programs designed to help achieve North American sales, marketing, and revenue goals.
Coordinate with internal and outside vendors, maintaining excellent professional relationships, in order to facilitate the conversion of marketing ideas and messages into effective marketing programs leading to revenue, improved customer intimacy, and growth in a dynamic environment.
Channel responsibilities including but not limited to digital marketing, sales force, and distributors.
Scope is mapped to the North American region to include Canada and the United States.
Gather feedback from customers, global and other regional counterparts, and field sales to identify new market trends and opportunities.
Provide input to broader business/market development strategy to drive a sustainable competitive advantage.
Lead cross-functional teams as an individual contributor to develop tactical action plans that drive growth in key channels and customer segments.
Develop messaging & tools that communicate the value/brand directly to customers through 10 different channels, including salesforce, digital marketing, and trade shows.
Achieve financial and market goals for designated portfolio.
Perform and present detailed analysis & routine reporting around business performance and segmentation.
Drive lead generation programs that result in sales and long term customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Management, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field of study plus 2 years of marketing, sales, or related experience.
Must have experience or knowledge of:
Corporate marketing functions, planning and tactical execution processes;
Life science research markets, customers, and competitors;
Experience in providing regular reporting of marketing metrics, successes, failures, and best practices; and
Working on overlapping projects of routine to diverse scope.
TRAVEL : Up to 15% domestic and international travel required.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $136,490.00–$166,400.00.
