We are looking for a talented and motivated Market Access Intern . During your internship you will interact with various departments from our team in Portugal and gather hands-on experience within the Human Pharma area. The internship will run for one year and you will have the chance to experience different challenges across different departments.
You will be working from Boehringer Ingelheim’s offices in Portugal.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support development of dossiers of therapeutic added value;
Support development of economic evaluation studies of new medicines;
Support development of market access tools for regional and local access;
Research and collection of information related to different therapeutic areas (epidemiological data, incidence and prevalence, costs, treatment standards, competitors, etc.)
Support hospital tenders and price revisions;
Support development of Public Affairs Plans;
Support Corporate Social Responsibility Projects.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM?
Your passion, creativity and enthusiasm;
Educational background in Life Sciences or Economics;
Additional training in areas related to the health economy and/or economic evaluation of medicines is a plus;
Previous work experience is considered a plus;
Active role on an academic students union or other civic association is also a plus;
Excellent command of the Portuguese and English language is mandatory;
Good interpersonal and communication skills;
Customer oriented approach;
Accountable and capable of dealing with confidential information and processes in a discrete way;
Profound knowledge of standard MS Office programs;
Evidence of strong teamwork and communication skills;
Evidence of effective problem – solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
