　　THE MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR WILL . . .Provide production employees with guidance, direction and supervision in support of departmental operations.Promptly address performance issues.Actively promote all company policies and expectations, especially in support of safety plans and results.Plan and schedule operations within assigned area of responsibility.Maintain a positive work environment by regularly communicating with employees on the shop floor and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner.Maintain well-organized and productive work areas.Work with others to achieve department and company goals and objectives.Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the production team.Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion: coordinates work activities with other supervisors.Decision are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager.Ensure a safe workplace.Promote ways to improve the quality of life and protect the environment in the communities in which the Company does business.Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

　　REQUIRED FOR THE MANUFACTURING SUPERVISORTo be considered all applicants must attach a resume outlining experience and qualifications.Two-year college degree preferred. High School Diploma required.2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/operational/shipping receiving environment.Working knowledge of MS Office - including Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to work 3 rotating shifts.Must be able to work weekends.Strong support of safety and operational requirements.Ability to successfully coordinate internal and external resources, organize and prioritize tasks. Disciplined and results orientation with the ability to work effectively as part of a team initiative.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on mutual respect. Strong problem-solving skills and decision making skills.Demonstrate leadership ability; sets high expectations for performance.Ideal candidate will be trustworthy with the ability to influence others and a willingness to offer a dissenting opinion before final decisions are reached.SAP experience.
