The site\'s product portfolio includes Chex Mix,Muddy Buddies, Bugles, and Gardetto\'s. Located 6 miles south ofdowntown Milwaukee, the site was built in 1968 and owned by the Gardettofamily until it was acquired by General Mills in 1999. Today, the plantemploys 240 employees working together on our Zero Loss Culture journey.The Operations Supervisor will provide manufacturing leadership todeliver a world-class operation. Lead, motivate, and develop employeesto achieve outstanding manufacturing results, while leveragingContinuous Improvement (Lean/TPM) tools, improving individual skills,and enhancing teamwork. Function as a technical and business resource inareas of system operations and production requirements. You will play anintegral role as a front-line leader supporting our Milwaukee plant.This role works a flex shift schedule (2nd and 3rd shift) with someweekends, therefore, shift is subject to change based on business needs.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Educate, develop and motivate a manufacturing workgroup to achieve required production results, improving individualtechnical skills and enabling collaboration across boundaries Ensurethat production facilities and finished products meet the company andgovernment standards for quality, sanitation, and safety Establish andsustain sound relationships with all employees in order to foster anenvironment where innovative methods are used to involve others increative solutions to issues Provide business leadership whichdemonstrates commitment to department and plant objectives on aday-to-day basis Facilitate, coach, counsel, and guide the manufacturingwork group to ensure that they have the ability to deliver results yearover year through the use of continuous improvement tools and strategiesFunction as a technical resource in areas of system operations andproduct requirements Facilitate the effective interchange of informationbetween work groups, cross-functional resources, and other members ofthe plant and corporate teams Partner closely with plant Line Teams todrive out losses and develop and engage team members in foundationalsystems Lead projects for the plant including Human Safety, Food Safety,and Improvement-plan focused initiatives MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HighSchool Diploma Demonstrated leadership skills Excellent interpersonal,communication and listening skills Ability to adjust to multipledemands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity and changeWillingness to work weekends or alternative shifts as required PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS Bachelor\'s Degree 2+ years...
