job summary:
Growing company in St. Louis is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Engineering and project management experience in original equipment manufacturing of mechanical systems used in the food and beverage industries. Previous process, project engineering and project management required. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Inventor a plus. Must be open to occasional travel, about 10-15%. This is a fully onsite role, no hybrid or remote.

responsibilities:
Oversee process from design to installation and implementation of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems
Serve as point of contact between clients and company as well as integrators and vendors throughout all levels of project execution
Serve as technical expert representing the company and its technology to top food and beverage processors nationwide
Review and mark up drawingss, buy parts for build, size valves on drawings
Communicate on an ongoing basis with vendors regarding project specifications
Prepare purchase orders for equipment and conduct inspection of fabrication
Travel to perform project startups and seminars (about 15%).
Requirements:
B.S. in Engineering
Previous experience in food and beverage manufacturing
Project Engineering/Project management experience
Excellent communication skills for dealing with customers and vendors
Process engineering experience
Fabrication/welding background as well as machining knowledge preferred
AutoCAD and Inventor proficiency a plus
Ability to travel about 15%.
