Job Description Summary

　　Responsible for process capability, cost reduction and continuous improvement project implementation within their designated manufacturing unit. Provides specific engineering work related to field of expertise with broad overlap between engineering disciplines expected. Support capacity planning and growth, as well as define budgeted rates and process documentation. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

　　Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

　　Identifies and sustains BDPS work processfor the manufacturing cell.Implements critical equipment settingand creation of standards.Creates technical knowledgefor the manufacturing cell and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologieswithin the manufacturing cell.Understands losses and drives the OEE performanceand develops and implements plans to eliminate top losses within manufacturing unit.Responsible for manufacturing cell change controlincluding validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.Other duties required to support the needs of the business.

　　Minimum Education:

　　High School Diploma/GED:RequiredBABS Degree:Preferred - Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferredIn lieu of Bachelor's Degree,5 years technical or manufacturing experience required

　　Minimum Experience:

　　3 years Manufacturing experience preferred
