  Job Description The Implementation Consultant is a client facing project manager in an individual contributor role, responsible for managing a portfolio of projects along with identifying and resolving issues of mid to high complexity.

  This position is at a professional level and requires an individual to work independently while receiving little guidance.

  Main responsibilities:

  Provide Project Management implementation and configuration support for moderate to complex projects, with assigned Visa clients and/or in an assigned market, problems faced are expected to be difficult and mildly complex. 

  Meet all milestones and deliverables in a timely manner and comply with Visa Internal Artifacts and ensure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded. Implementing projects within SLOs .

  Coordinate directly with clients to understand card programs, communicate best of breed solutions, document requirements, and facilitate new card program installations without customer impact.  Take ownership of associated tasks, performing a lead role in driving change to completion. 

  Present opportunities to clients with the objective of increasing performance and further educating clients on Visa’s programs, products, and services. 

  Prepare and maintain detailed project Artifacts, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, issues log in support of client projects and/or initiatives. Apply Visa processes and approaches to be in line with client requirements.  

  Coordinates technical resources, planning and monitoring of certification testing, and negotiates with department and division heads to secure resources required to complete projects. 

  Build and enhance positive working relationships with Visa clients and internal stakeholders. 

  Reports customer project accomplishments and deliverables to management on a regular basis. 

  Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for internal process improvement resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness, and increased customer satisfaction. 

  Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to achieve results as part of an effective team, and ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task under deadlines. 

  Proactively escalate projects that are in jeopardy and work with your direct manager as appropriate to make decisions that bring needed resources to resolve any issues. 

  Ability to manage an operational and strategic decision-making process. 

  This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

  Qualifications 4 years of related work experience (Project Management role required , Customer Support or Financial Institutions) with a bachelor’s degree or more than 2 years with Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).2 years of work experience on Agile project management methodology (e.g. Kanban, Scrum)Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Vision, MS Teams, Power BI, etc.)Excellent time management, organization, planning skills, and teamwork are essential.Able to set priorities, influence others, and manage customer expectations.Excellent verbal, written, presentation and strong interpersonal skills are required.Communication fluency in English and Spanish required.Comfort with public speaking and the ability to relay information clearly and confidently in large groups.A Plus to manage the following tools (MS Dynamics, others).Incident Management capabilities after projects deployments.
