About Manufacturing Operator

  The Opportunity:

  Follow manufacturing processes detailed in batch production records aligning with regulatory compliance towards safety, quality and environmental expectationsAvantor is looking for a dedicated and experienced Operator to optimize our Salts Operational Production team, delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

  This role will be a full-time position based out of our Phillipsburg, NJ facility. You will have the opportunity to carry out batch manufacturing and production records that align with regulatory compliance towards safety, quality, and environmental expectations.   What we're looking for

  Education: High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience: 1-3 years in a manufacturing, production, or packaging facilityPreferred Qualifications

  Chemical manufacturing experienceUnderstanding of OSHA, FDA, and/or GMP proceduresForklift experience

  How you will thrive and create an impact

  Responsible for ensuring the lines are set-up and running to the production schedule in accordance to the work ordersClean and inspect lines as well as perform line change-overs as needed.Take particle count samples and run particle count tests.Prepare customer trucks to include sealing, sampling, and associated paperwork. Inspect and close MPO's.Keep accurate production records.Collaborates with Supervisors and Maintenance Personnel, to determine equipment set-up and operations.Works with the Quality Assurance Department to understand, recognize and rectify quality issues. Has the authority and responsibility to stop the line and notify QA of a contamination event.Ability to perform the duties of both a packaging operator and material handler.Comply with all cGMP requirements.Manage hazardous and universal waste according to local, state and federal regulations.Performs other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
