ABOUT THIS POSITION Manufacturing Engineering Interns will apply their knowledge to assist in performing tasks to support manufacturing design and the assembly process under the direction of an Engineer or Manager. This position will also support groups related to manufacturing such as the development, operations, and quality teams. OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE Analyze and determine the root cause of manufacturing failures. Update manufacturing process documentation to standardize methods across product lines, improve clarity and optimize the procedure. Communicate with Contract Manufacturing personnel to retrieve data, perform experiments, and report status. Build subassemblies from components, apply software, and conduct final testing. Identify improvements for manufacturing fixturing. Update the corresponding documents and drawings as well as performing the necessary qualification actions.
