Manufacturing Engineer / Estimator - Akron, OH - JOB 24-00061Salary Range: $68K - $85K Permanent Position with Benefits.Akron Area family manufacturer who has been in business 80 years is seeking to hire an Engineer with manufacturing experience. Converting customers' requests for quotation and specifications into accurate shop drawings and flat layouts. While doing so control CAD drawings within the ERP including REV changes, deviation requests, and engineering changes and notifications for all parts of the job.Qualifications:• Manufacturing/Engineering degree• Experience in technical engineering/manufacturing is essential• Excel and ERP proficiencies• Use past performance to drive continuous improvement throughout an organization• CAD and SolidWorks expertise and an ability to learn/integrate new software• Knowledge and understanding of engineering and manufacturing techniques and ability to analyze the associated costsCandidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Due to the large amount of resumes we expect to receive only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
