About Manufacturing CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules.

  Align with and maintain areas to 5S standards.

  Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.

  Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.

  Setup machines in accordance with job routings, set-up sheets, tooling drawings, component blueprints, and verbal instructions.

  Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.

  Align with all safety and work instructions.

  Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises.

  Required Skills - External

  REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  High School diploma or GED required.

  Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs.

  Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.

  Ability to read and comprehend machine (G-code) programming (machinist positions) .

  Use of precision measurement tool and gauges.

  Shop math and ability to complete calculations using handbook formulas.

  PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (for machinist positions) :

  Associates degree or equivalent experience in Machine Trades or Tool & Die. Journeyman Machinists encouraged to apply.

  2 – 3 years proven experience working with CNC machinery, such as mills, lathes, or grinders.
