JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary: The Manufacturing Planner/ Buyer, isresponsible for transactional buying, scheduling, planning, coordinatingand monitoring the production and inventory requirements through the ERPprocesses in order to support overall demand. The ManufacturingBuyer/Planner will maintain good relations with suppliers, and supportfor Supply Chain objectives, goals, NPI, and KPI\'s. This position islocated in our Madison, WI facility. Responsibilities: Communicatesdirectly with suppliers to place routine purchase orders, expedite,re-expedite, and process returned goods as appropriate to achieveproduction schedule balanced against inventories Measures and reports ondelivery performance of internal/external suppliers Drives leanpractices with respect to production, inventory, and administrationPerforms cycle counting and WIP verification programs to maintain stockaccuracy. Analyzes and reconciles variances, determining and solvingroot causes Performs other responsibilities as assigned by managerManages return of rejected manufacturing materials, RMA\'s, opening ofOSP MO\'s, and PO\'s to support procurement process for Service andManufacturing material using MRP system. Performs RMA and internalrepair scheduling in the release, update, review, and closing of OSP joborders. May assist other planner/buyers with material and capacityrequirements and implementing manufacturing plans to support the masterproduction schedule, customer order schedule and service inventory plansMay assist other planner/buyers by performing production scheduling inthe release, update, review, and closing of job orders. Will assistother planner/buyers in various day to day duties. Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Production and Operations Management or relatedfield is preferred; Associates degree and or/equivalent experience inproduction 3- 5 years in a Supply Chain role including MaterialsRequirements Planning (MRP) and bill of materials, ECO\'s, MRB, andRMA\'s Experience with safety and health (OSHA), FDA, and ISO qualitysystem requirements Understanding of quality assurance programs (ISO,FDA, and QRS), ERP Systems and their manufacturing related processes,and production floor process flows Excellent verbal, written, andteamwork skills are required. Computer skills including the use ofstandard office software programs including spreadsheet, wordprocessing, presentation, and email applications Must be self motivatedwith high energy level and a strong work ethic.
