As a Manufacturing Technician in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work tasks will include, learning to operate various equipment to convert, dissolve, purify, and process uranium materials in a safe and proficient manner. The processed uranium product will be used in downstream processes to create fuel to produce carbon free electricity in nuclear power plants. You will also learn how to read different instruments to help you in your processing duties. You will gain experience using computer software and hardware with several data bases to electronically transfer and track materials and products. You will develop process and equipment troubleshooting skills. You will learn how to handle uranium safely.
