Job Overview
The Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for direct patient care andsafety including diagnostic, assessment, treatment, and dischargeplanning for children, adolescents, and their families in Outpatient,Inpatient or Emergency Department settings.This position could feature any modality of Creative Arts or ExpressiveTherapy. Requirements include CO licensure & Masters in Creative ArtsTherapy (Art, Music, Dance/ Movement, Drama Therapies) orExpressive Arts Therapy. This position provides services to a number ofdifferent patient populations within our Pediatric Mental Health Institute andmedical units, with flexible scheduling as a member of our Ponzio CreativeArts Therapy Program.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Master's degree in psychology, social work or related field.Master's degree in Creative Arts Therapy modality (arttherapy/dance-movement therapy/ drama therapy/ expressive artstherapy/music therapy/ yoga therapy) preferredEXPERIENCE: 2 years in a mental health setting/agencyCERTIFICATION(S): American Heart Association Basic Life Support forHealthcare Provider or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer orASHI Basic Life Support for Health ProvidersATR or ATR-BC (Art Therapist Registered- Board Certification) by the AATAArt Therapy Credentials Board; or R-DMT or BC-DMT(Registered or BoardCertified Dance Movement Therapist) by the American Dance TherapyAssociation; or RDT (Registered Drama Therapist) by the North AmericanDrama Therapy Association; or REAT (Registered Expressive ArtsTherapist) by the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association; orMT-BC (Music Therapy-Board Certified) by the Certification Board for MusicTherapist; or C-IAYT (Certified Yoga Therapist) by the InternationalAssociation of Yoga Therapists preferredLICENSURE: State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)or Licensed Marriage nd Family Counselor
