About Senior HRIS Analyst, Audit/Security- remote, hybrid or in person

  Primary Purpose

  Responsible for supporting HRIS from an Audit and Security perspective with specific focus on all HCM, Time and Attendance, LMS and Payroll functions globally. Share a vision and passion for systems and processes to transform the way HR services are delivered to the organization. Lead contact for Audit, IT Compliance, InfoSec Legal, and Privacy teams to establish data sharing standards and to ensure that the HR/HRIS teams are following best practices and passing all internal external audits.

  Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Expert level knowledge of Workday HCM and Payroll with the ability to research and respond to all audit, IT Compliance, and InfoSec inquiries by understanding business processes, and security roles and responsibilities of all employees who have access to all HRIS systems

  • Experience with HR data sharing/PII rules to create and execute standards. Must be able to partner with HR leaders, Legal, Privacy and others to determine the confidentiality levels of all system data elements then communicate the rules to all HRIS, ensuring that system security, reporting and integration matches the determined access levels

  • Review and approve project requirements that require sharing of confidential personal data and when necessary, act as the conduit between all teams to determine the path to deliver against stakeholder needs while upholding data sharing rules

  • Responsible for reviewing and updating all security access within HR and for our business partners for Workday HCM and Payroll

  • Partner with the senior members of HRIS/HR Operations and Stakeholders to understand the go-forward Workday vision and roadmap and communicating to day-to-day partners (Audit, IT Governance, etc. when necessary)

  • Ensure project solutions connect across modules and aligns with the overall Data Sharing Strategy

  • Partner with the Workforce/Time and Attendance system administrators to ensure that security, reporting, and system updates align with Audit/IT Compliance, Legal requirements

  • Provides guidance, training and coaching all members of the HRIS team

  • Other duties as assigned

  Job Requirements – Education/Experience

  Education

  Required - Bachelor's Degree

  Experience

  Required - 8 experience or knowledge in the HRIS field including background/education in both Workday technology, Human Resources, and Audit.

  Additional Job Requirements

  • Broad knowledge/experience with multiple SaaS HR technology platforms and tools.• Experience working with internal and external audit teams along with various Compliance, Info Sec and Privacy teams.• Experience with automated tools to create and run scripts to assist with audit/IT Compliance requests.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize and present findings or challenges to all levels of staff and management.• Highly analytical with a natural curiosity about data and the ability to consume and process large amounts of information.• Outstanding Excel skills and working knowledge Visio or other process flow tools.This role can be in person to our beautiful Newton, Mass headquarters or hybrid or remote. The pay range is $130-140K yearly.

Actual compensation offers will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
