The scope of the Manager Supply Planning is to manage and continuously improve processes across Global Supply Planning team, and to support global supply reviews and global S&OP Process.
The primary role of the Manager Supply Planning is to drive transformation of supply planning processes. This role is a driver for continuous improvement, identifying and implementing continuous improvement activities within the global supply chain.
This Manager Supply Planning will coordinate seamlessly with Demand Planners, Supply Network Planners, Site Planners, S&OE planners and Managers, Global Operations Senior Leaders, Manufacturing Site Leaders, Manufacturing Planners, Global Sourcing, Manufacturing Site level Purchasing and Sourcing, Global FP&A, Distribution, Logistics, Customer Ops, Customer Service, and Global Marketing.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Manager Supply Planning is responsible for:
Improving supply planning processes and supporting deployment of Site Supply Reviews (SSR) and S&OP meetings.
Create mid-term and long-term Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to reliably predict inventory and service levels.
Identify capacity constraints and production capabilities to be used in the creation of plans.
Support decision making by defining and analyzing multiple feasible scenarios of supply (including mid -term capacity constraints).
Assess/evaluate financial impacts associated with risks and opportunities.
Support maintenance of current and future supply models. Develop processes that rely on ERP to provide adequate and accurate supply projections to the business, instead of Excel spreadsheets.
Own Global Supply Planning KPIs and metrics (definition, reporting, improvement)
Owns process to maintain material master data required for correct supply planning, always up to date and accurate.
Works with Global Supply Chain Systems Director to explore and implement opportunities to leverage AI (artificial intelligence) and other digital technologies in our supply planning processes.
Optimize cost: reduce write-offs, etc.
Optimize inventory E2E. Creates a process to ensure reliable inventory projections.
The Manager Supply Planning will coordinate and collaborate with all assigned Supply Network Planners and product categories to ensure reporting and support to the following:
Product Category Monthly Supply Reviews
Key contributor to the global S&OP Process and reviews
KPI’s and reporting performed consistently and accurately.
Escalations to supply chain, operations, finance and business leadership as necessary
Ability to effectively operate in a complex and dynamic environment, provide clear direction and instruction, and continuously look internally and externally for best practices and areas for improvement. Ability to lead via influence.
Drives supply chain performance and continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Planning functions. Drives performance on target service levels and other supply chain KPI’s providing analytics and visibility for the network supply status to all cross functional stakeholders.
Ensure a culture of performance, collaboration, customer service and accountability where individuals are valued, recognized, developed, and aligned to our company mission and supply chain strategy.
Can be appointed as key point of contact for supply related matters to one of Integra’s business units.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for his position.
College Degree in related field - advanced degree a plus
APICS certification a plus
Minimum 8 years supply planning or supply chain experience of which 5 years supply chain Management experience.
Prefer experience with ERP systems and planning software - Oracle ASCP a plus
Strong communication skills - experience dealing with international sites a plus
Sound leadership qualities and demonstrated good judgment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Access skills a plus
Ability to travel up to 20%
Ability to communicate in an articulate and confident manner with all levels of staff and with other departments, both written and verbal, including executive leadership. Good negotiation and feedback skills.
Good understanding of Life Sciences quality compliance requirements
