Reference #: 1323Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for a Manager, Supply and Inventory Planning in our Plymouth Meeting, PA location. In this role you will support the operations of the Technical Operations organization for Harmony Biosciences. These responsibilities of this position include developing a valid production plan in support of all clinical and commercial demands and leading the ongoing collaboration with Manufacturing, Finance, Quality Assurance, Clinical Operations and Commercial Operations to ensure the continued supply of products to patients. Manage shipments globally from contract manufacturing organizations and packaging sites to various distribution/storage sites, clinical depots/sites and direct to patient shipments.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop and maintain a valid supply plan and work cross functionally to assure product is released for distribution in accordance with the plan.Issue purchase orders in accordance with Production Plan.Manage the shipments of clinical and commercial inventory from the Contract Manufacturing sites to various clinical depots and/or Contract Packaging sites. Work with Manufacturing Operations and QA to complete release of product at the clinical depots.Work with Clinical Operations and Manufacturing Operations to support shipments of clinical inventory to clinical sites as well as direct to patient shipments.Manage global import/export activities to ensure compliance with international transportation and U.S. Customs Border Patrol regulations.Maintain all import/export files, documents, logs, etc. per internal SOP's. Ensure Harmony's Contract Manufacturers and Distribution Partners move goods throughout the Supply Chain according to validated processes.Collaborate with contract sites, Technical Operations and Quality Assurance to solve material-related issues that impact the supply plan.Perform a monthly reconciliation of Harmony commercial inventory across all Contract Manufacturing locations assuring a timely month end financial close.Understand external contract site capacities, capabilities, and supply risks. Issue and bottleneck coordination as appropriate.Lead monthly planning meetings with cross-functional team members.Lead Supply Chain Planning project teams.Support serialization track-and-trace system business owner and assume role as system SME.Scenario planning when appropriate, to proactively identify risks and opportunities.Analytics of assigned portfolio, including inventory projection, supply performance and risks.Integration with other global planning processes e.g. Demand, Inventory, S&OP and KPI'sWrite or optimize Supply Chain-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).Perform tasks in a manner consistent with safety policies, quality systems, and GMP requirements.Performs other supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma with 7+ years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry or Bachelor's Degree within a scientific discipline with 4+ years of experience requiredImport / Export Certification or willingness to obtain certificationExperience reviewing manufacturing and packaging batch records preferredIn-depth knowledge and demonstrated mastery of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and associated Quality Guidance's and principles.Working knowledge of supply chain planning, management and operationsProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with strong organizational, and analytical skills requiredExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and coach positive behaviors across multiple contractorsHigh ethical & quality standards and lives them through actions and communication.Functions independently with minimal guidance while simultaneously covering multi-varied project responsibilitiesPhysical demands and work environment:Domestic and international travel is estimated to be 15% of the time for this position.While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and cell phone.Continuous sitting for prolonged periods.What can Harmony offer you?Medical, Vision and Dental benefits the first of the month following start dateGenerous paid time off and Company designated HolidaysCompany paid Disability benefits and Life Insurance coverage401(k) Retirement Savings PlanPaid Parental leaveEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Company sponsored wellness programsProfessional development initiatives and continuous learning opportunitiesA certified Great Place to Work for five consecutive years based on our positive, values-based company culture
