Job Description:The Manager, Strategy Execution System will report to the Senior Director, Strategic Execution & Business Analytics. In this role, the manager will be directly responsible for the design, training, implementation, and continuous improvement of the strategy execution process. This includes the design and deployment of processes, governance & management systems, tools and templates, and continuous improvement. This person will be responsible for partnering with Genie functional, shared services, and strategy execution leadership to successfully develop the process, tools, and training to drive business results across the strategy execution portfolio. The manager will also leverage key performance indicators, business results, and the voice of the customer to measure deployment success and drive improvement.Responsibilities and Scope:Drive the development of industry leading strategy execution process; including but not limited to the program and project management process, tools & templates, and governance modelDeploy training of strategy execution process, tools, and governance to program leadership and key resourcesDesign and deploy program & project stage gate process and other health checks to ensure program delivery and business results are metDesign & leverage portfolio KPIs and leading indicators to ensure process, governance, and tools are successfully deployed and used to purposePartner with leadership and strategy teams to help translate strategy into actionable execution plans with defined management systems & governance to drive resultsHelp facilitate the identification and selection of improved portfolio and program toolsImplement feedback loops and voice of the customer process to drive continuous improvement of strategy execution framework and toolsProvide formal and informal training, coaching and mentoring to relevant functional and project stakeholdersConduct postmortem process on relevant milestones to ensure lessons learned and best practices are captured and used to drive continuous improvement & systemic changeBasic Qualifications:BS or BA degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or other relevant degree3-5 years of increasing experience in project & program management or other related disciplineHighly organized with strong attention to details.Proven track record of delivering results and making a positive impact on the businessCollaborative work approach with the ability to work across the organization and confidently interact with senior leaders and business & IT partnersProven ability to translate strategy into execution plans with repeatable process & toolsAbility to work in a matrix environment and build strong relationships by being transparent, reliable, and delivering on commitmentsEffective communication skills tailored to the audience; ability to present complex ideas and challenges effectivelyDemonstrated expertise in critical thinking, influence, negotiation, problem solving, change management and strategic thinkingDemonstrated ability to influence areas not under direct control to achieve objectives and drive changeHas a big picture mentality with the ability to execute and focus on getting things donePreferred Qualifications:Masters or advanced degree in business, supply chain, finance, or other relevant degree3-5 years of experience in strategy execution or relevant strategy consulting rolesRelevant project management accreditation or certificationDemonstrated experience with lean and/or six sigma methodologiesExperience in developing and leading enterprise PMO organizationsThe salary range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000.
