　　GENERAL FUNCTION

　　The Nextore Millwork Operations Manager drives and manages the millwork process, from development to installation. This role will coordinate between design, research & development, procurement, logistics, installers, and construction team to ensure that millwork is designed and built to Luxottica accepted quality and standards.

　　MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Evaluates millwork designs to determine cost efficient and timely millwork production strategies for North American millwork production.

　　Manages external vendors in the production of millwork for new, relocation and remodel projects.

　　Works with the R&D team to develop standards for the production of millwork designs and shop drawings.

　　Manages millwork production process and provides scope of work, design intent and design standards to consultants for production of millwork designs and shop drawings.

　　Ensures millwork consultant adheres to client’s requirements.

　　Maintains and publishes reporting of millwork activities providing communication to all internal stakeholders, key dates and critical milestones.

　　Manages and coordinates external consultants for production of design drawings, shop drawings, architectural blocks, installation instructions

　　Manages and coordinates redlines of shop drawings for review

　　Manages and coordinates all communications regarding Millwork development, from design to installation

　　Manages communication between internal teams and consultants on all design-related matters, including code-compliance, adherence to Brand design standards, construction integrity, and finish installation quality

　　Acts as a liaison between internal design, R&D, and construction teams

　　Ensures efficient and timely communication between internal teams, consultants, and suppliers during all phases of the project

　　Ensure delivery of Millwork by required deadlines

　　Maintains Luxottica Millwork design, construction and installation standards.

　　Manages and coordinates internal teams or external consultants with obtaining existing as-built conditions and site information.

　　Review and validate consultants’ proposals and invoices for approval by Store Development Management.

　　Assist project team during construction phase to address design and permit-related issues.

　　Manages shop drawing preparation and review process, ensuring that all invested internal partners have had the opportunity to review and comment on fixture design.

　　Review and validate vendor proposals and invoices for approval by Store Development Management.

　　Research/reviews Landlord design criteria (including materials) and requirements of local jurisdictions (including gathering required documents like UL compliance documents, flame spread ratings, material safety data sheets, etc.).

　　Creates and maintains a fixture library (both autocad blocks and pdf drawings, as well as a full catalog of installation instructions).

　　Maintains an efficient project document management system and archive for use by all project members.

　　Assembles project Millwork Information package for evaluation by necessary parties, and keeps it in Project Management System for use by all project team members.

　　BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

　　5+ years of relevant experience

　　Bachelor’s Degree or related experience

　　Understanding of retail millwork design, construction, and installation; understands retail/ store planning and design / construction industry

　　Good problem solving, analytical and organizational skills

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

　　4 year degree in Design, Architecture, or Engineering​Pay Range: - 128448
