  Manages professionals of customer & business support/production teams

  Lead others to complete business and operating plans; be accountable for the performance and results.

  Lead engagement projects as directed and maintenance of engagement of team members within their team.

  Build business plans and contribute to the development of team and area strategy.

  Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

  Reporting Relationship : You will report to the Director, Technology Platform Design and Management

  Handle and resolves escalated issues that are technically complex"

  Lead teams of software development professionals responsible for multiple aspects of product development.

  Plan tasks (e.g. front end platforms, design and implementation of assigned product domains, integration with third-party POS products), hold code and design reviews while ensuring that all components are.

  Define high-level architecture, collaborate with senior developers across the team on design, and review the detailed designs.

  Guide all aspects of development including requirements definition, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration.

  Oversee detailed designs, implementation, and test plan reviews to ensure deliverables.

  Assess systems concerning functional and technical requirements for our products by working with internal partners.

  Work with partners to provide status, iterative releases, and make design decision throughout development.

  Accountable to ensure resulting software deliverables follow all application product architectures and best practices.

  Plan for the budget and tools to achieve a roadmap.

  Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience. Master's degree preferred in Computer Science or Software Engineering

  Minimum of 10 years of experience working in system-level software development / architecture role

  Proficient in working in software development, large-scale systems design, business intelligence environments, and data architecture environments.

  Establish and sell the senior leaders within the technology organization on your technical vision.

  5 years of technical leadership and people management experience. Demonstrate passion and ability to inspire others.

  Experience with software tooling, large-scale configuration management and deployment systems.
