　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　We are seeking a Nurse Manager (RN) for our COMING SOON Hospital Outpatient Department scheduled to open in May 2024. 　　What You Will Do In Your Role:

　　You will assist the Director of Surgical Services with all department activities to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of the facility.

　　Provides daily oversight of the schedule

　　Monitors the department productivity

　　Manages throughput

　　Oversees Timekeeping for accuracy

　　Will be directly involved with staff interviews and hiring

　　Work closely with SPD and Supply Chain department

　　You will assist in coordinating the department’s participation in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.

　　You will ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluates the effectiveness on an ongoing basis.

　　You will provide clinical support to the nursing staff.

　　You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.

　　At least 3 years of experience in a Recovery Room/Day Surgery setting is required. Supervisor/Manager experience is preferred.

　　Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).

　　Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
