Position Summary:
Retail Development Manager is an integral partner to Region Brands teams in the development, execution and maximization of Regional Retail strategic priorities. Through a collaborative operating model, the RCDM seeks to optimize channel performance, drive sales and productivity through comprehensive and holistic channel insights, reports, analysis and actionable solutions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Retail Channel Maximization
Partners with Region Brand teams in the implementation of key Retail strategies and optimize channel performance, drive sales, productivity and profitability across the retail Bricks & Mortar channels
Collates deep channel analytics and insights by Brand, Affiliate and sub-channel and conducts market research on competitor performance / activity and benchmarking of retail channel best practices to scale across the Region
Manages the end-to-end Portfolio review with Affiliates and a collated view with Region Brands including quarterly touchpoints to collect Door Action (plan to close, renew etc) and coordinating remodelling 3 year pipeline
Partners with Retail Operations team to identify opportunities to elevate retail expertise in Affiliates
Supports Quarterly Business Reviews with Region Brand teams to review retail performance and make recommendations on opportunities
Contributes to the development of the Regional Retail Strategy
Retail Channel Analysis
Reviews performance of doors in the markets, provides B&M analytics and insights by Brands and sub-channel (FSS/DS/FSF/SMC)
Monitors standard KPI’s (e.g. productivity, conversion, UPT, AUS, service metrics etc.)
P&L analysis to provide insights and strategy to Brands and Affiliates on opportunities to drive P&L across different retail channel
Partners with Retail Operations to conduct quarterly selling / demo productivity analysis to drive Region brand growth, conversion and client acquisition
Market research on competitors’ performance and benchmarking to share best practices and recommendations to Region Brands
Key contributor to perform regular review on analytics systems; develop tailored measuring metrics and system to capture / interpret data.
Qualifications
Skills & Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experiences
Strong background in business development and strategy
Experience in business analysis, planning, and prioritizing.
Sales and results oriented, retail driven and motivated. Passion for retail and customer experience.
Strong relationship, communication, and interpersonal skills
Flexible and adaptable
Excellent presentation skills
Proficiency in spoken English
