About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Manager - Remote Solutions to join J umeirah Group & Corporate . The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Oversee the inventory management in systems and executes the agreed selling strategies on all systems.
Delivery of daily and end of month reports to help Jumeirah Group track financial health and progress.
Provide revenue management functional expertise to General Managers and SBU leadership teams.
Monitor Market RevPAR performance and provide critical analysis of SBU performance against market, submarket and competitor set.
Support GM and DOSM in the development of long and short-term strategies to address any deficiencies and contribute to the ongoing RGI growth.
Manage rooms authorizations, rates, and restrictions
Maintain the transient rooms inventory for the SBU and be responsible for maximizing transient revenue and straight-line availability through the effective use of IDeaS, Opera, SynXis.
Monitor price points across the hotels against the competitive landscape and makes recommendations /changes to ensure price is correctly positioned based on value, demand, pace and competitive pricing
Monitor pricing across all distribution platforms, ensuring they are the same and that decisions between IDeaS, Opera, SynXis and OTA Insight are aligned
Prepare weekly and monthly forecast. · Optimize configuration to achieve forecast accuracy with the use of IDeaS G3 and ensure pricing recommendations are adhered to keep system overrides limited.
Provide daily update calls to nominated SBU contact (General Manager/DOSM) to highlight key changes in booking patterns, demand changes and overall competitive positioning.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Hotel Administration or Business AdministrationA minimum of 2 years' experience in revenue management operational roles, ideally within hospitality, events or sales management
Proven experience of communicating data and analysis to a broad group of stakeholders, and making relevant recommendations
Experience of following time management protocol as designed by revenue management.
Experience of taking initiative and working through obstacles, being accountable for results.
Strong understanding of pricing strategies.
Excellent stakeholder management experience- communicating complex information in an engaging way.
