　　ANSYS, Inc. seeks Manager R&D to work in San Jose, CA

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　The Manager R&D will lead software development sub-projects of Ansys applications.This role is responsible for planning, resource assignments and progress tracking of all activities performed by the members of the team. The Manager R&D will be responsible for line management and personal development of team members, as well as the facilitation of the team's work. Specific duties include, responsible for the on-time completion of the projects assigned to team while meeting the corporate quality standards; ensure that appropriate methods and procedures are followed; recruits, develops, and retains high performing talent; create a positive team culture that is aligned with the Ansys culture; oversee and manage a single team, section, or unit.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

　　Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study, and six (6) years of experience, in any occupation in which the required experience was gained Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study, and eight (8) years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gainedWork experience or academic coursework must have included:Experience leading projects and delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial organization;Experience in leading a RD team working to deliver innovative solutions and maintain complex software products;Experience with C++, object-oriented programming, C++14/17 standards and design patterns;Experience with software design and development methodologies for electronic design automation tools;Experience with power delivery network simulation for advanced semiconductor nodes;Understanding of business requirements and translating them into software roadmaps and plans;Experience presenting to stakeholders and development teams and collaborating with the teams.Additional work location information: May permit telecommuting from within commuting distance San Jose, CA.

　　Wage: $239,200.00 per year
