St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Manager – Consumer Access Connect to join our Outpatient and Surgery Scheduling team.
Summary
The successful candidate will be a working manager responsible for the management of day-to-day operations and coordination of department according to assigned scope. This role will manage a team of up to 80+ contact center employees with oversight of outpatient imaging and surgical services scheduling across the system. Must have the ability to work from downtown Boise with previous management experience preferred. If you are an action-oriented leader with a drive for process and can work independently leading a strong patient support team - this role is for you.
Responsibilities
The Manager Patient Access Connect is responsible for leadership and oversight of assigned area Patient Access operations. Will partner with stakeholders across the organization to achieve priorities and key metrics through direct report and Affinity relationships. Scope: Manages a service area for hospital registration or complex/multifaceted service line within connect. Has 24/7 operational responsibility. Typically, responsible for 80+ FTE's.
Manages cross-functional teams, in both centralized and decentralized environments providing leadership and key support for multiple workstreams.
Interfaces directly with senior leadership and executives to drive access-related programs and policies for the system.
Responsible for building and maintaining sustainable working relationships for system-wide Patient Access business operations.
Responsible for the development of department operating budget and maintaining controls to ensure compliance with budgeted expense, resource allocation and productivity-utilization focused projects.
Develops and presents subject matter recommendations to senior leaders and executives on decisions for which consequences of error is significant for revenue, cost, quality, compliance and/or reputation to hospital or service line.
Has oversight and will lead various complex projects with system-wide implications.
Establishes plans, manages projects and ensures execution of operational directives.
Independently responsible for processing, analyzing and interpreting complex, less clearly-defined issues.
Identifies key barriers/core problems, requiring the application of problem-solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations.
Implements strategies and ensures operational execution to achieve optimal outcomes.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree
Experience: 7 years relevant experience
Previous Team Management experience highly preferred
Contact Center or Call Center experience highly preferred
