Opportunity
As a Manager – IT, Data Hub, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the data hub that connects various data sources within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, security, availability, and accessibility, supporting data-driven decision-making across the company.
Oversees the design, development, and maintenance of the data hub, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Implements data integration, transformation, and storage solutions to maintain high data quality and integrity.
Enforces data governance policies and best practices to guarantee data security and compliance with regulatory standards.
Develops and maintains a data strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.
Collaborates with stakeholders to define data architecture and establish data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and decision-making processes.
Establishes data quality standards and implements processes to monitor and improve data quality. Ensures compliance with data privacy and security regulations, working closely with the legal and compliance teams.
Ensures that authorized users have timely and secure access to the data they need for analysis and reporting. Manages data availability and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
Continuously evaluates the data hub's performance and works on optimizing data processing and access for better efficiency. Troubleshoots and resolve data-related issues promptly.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required, with a preference towards a master’s degree.
5+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, or a related role, preferably in a large-scale manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling.
Proficiency in database technologies, data governance, and data security best practices.
