　　About the Job:

　　An opportunity has arisen for a Manager - Design to join Jumeirah Group & Corporate . The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

　　Collaborate with the Design team to develop and implement design strategies that align with Jumeirah's overall vision and brand identity

　　Act as a brand guardian and partner with design consultants to produce exceptional design concepts and projects for hotels throughout Jumeirah Group

　　Oversee the design development process, from initial ideation to concept creation and final execution, ensuring adherence to brand standards, project timelines and budgets

　　Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, and Procurement, to integrate design principles seamlessly into every aspect of hotels throughout Jumeirah Group

　　Conduct regular design reviews (Consultants drawings, FF&E and OS&E) during all phases of the design process to ensure compliance to brand standards and to provide constructive feedback to design and project teams.

　　Collaborate with external design firms, artists, and suppliers to source unique and high-quality materials, furniture, and decor elements for hotel projects throughout Jumeirah Group

　　Participate in value engineering process to provide cost effective solutions while maintaining Jumeirah brand standards.

　　Present design concepts and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and rationale behind each design decision

　　Ensure compliance with all relevant local regulation, sustainability principles, compliance metrics, department standard operating procedures and directives within your defined area of activity so that Jumeirah Group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests and a responsible commitment to the environment

　　Maintain and update brand standards, department documentations and templates.

　　Stay abreast of industry trends, design innovations, and emerging technologies to continuously evolve and elevate Jumeirah's design approach

　　Responsible for Ad hoc tasks, projects and reasonable request made by the Executive team

　　The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field from a renowned university

　　Proven experience 5 years + in a senior design role within the luxury hospitality or high-end residential sector

　　Strategic thinking and the ability to align design concepts with business objectives, guest preferences, and market trends

　　Strong design expertise and creativity to contribute to the development of innovative and aesthetically captivating design concepts

　　Exceptional design portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful projects · Capable of conveying design ideas clearly to stakeholders

　　Aptitude to address design challenges, make informed design decisions, and lead the team in finding creative solutions
