About Manager, Integrated Social Media

  SUMMARY:

  GEICO is seeking an innovative Manager, Integrated Social Media to join the Integrated Marketing & Media team. This individual will combine their expertise across digital media, performance marketing, content development, and media analytics to lead and evolve GEICO's paid, owned, and earned social media strategy and execution. This individual will have oversight across all social channels and partners - from start to finish - and will be responsible for transforming our current strategy, leading our future vision for social innovation testing, and partnering with our agencies to deliver executional excellence. It's critical that this individual has a solid understanding of how social media and PR can partner together to create meaningful social-centric brand moments that drive conversation and engagement. The ideal candidate will build internal partnerships and work cross-functionally with their peers in Marketing Insights & Analytics, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Operations, Creative, IT, and Procurement to move projects forward efficiently and effectively.

  Key Responsibilities:Lead the strategy, development, and implementation of GEICO's end-to-end social media strategy - driving customer engagement and performanceOversee partnerships across community-based platforms - including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, YouTube, etc. - to ensure that GEICO has access to innovative opportunities that drive engagement, grow our 1PD, and convert customersServe as social media SME across the Marketing Department- understanding, leveraging, and activating against customer behavior, user journeys, and platform evolution to acquire new customers and upsell current customersDesign a strategic paid, owned, earned and shared social calendar that draws from multiple content sources including but not limited to agencies, sports partnerships and creators.Develop earned-first, social-centric ideas to drive brand equity and business outcomesIn partnership with Marketing Analytics, evolve GEICO's social media measurement framework - develop and align on methodologies, business projections, targets, and learning agendasPartner with in-house community management team to assess customer sentiment and draw actionable insightsCollaborate with cross-functional partners to align on project priorities, milestone management, business objectives, audience development and activation, integrated measurement frameworks and interdependent implicationsOversee project costs and ensure budgets are pacing appropriatelyKey Qualifications:Strong demonstrated ability to build and influence lasting relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organizationProven track record of creating, executive, and leading social marketing in a large, matrixed organization and/or a rapid growth environmentAbility to prioritize and pivot between high-level social strategy and day-to-day platform execution with a nimble teamComfortable analyzing performance metrics across multiple social management tools and optimizing content for maximum impactOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to synthesize complex work streams and quickly propose solutionsWell-versed in performance marketing channels, influencer marketing, audience development/activation (1P/2P/3P data), adtech platforms, and analytics solutions (DSPs, DMPs, SEM bid management platforms, etc.)Outstanding judgement - ability to know when to escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner; strong desire to creatively problem solve; operates with a tense of personal and team accountabilityThrives in ambiguity and a fast-based marketing environment - previous positions in transformational organizations Strong skills in resource planning, tasks assignment, dependency mapping, benefits realization, and risk management Core Competencies: Drives Innovative Business Improvements: Develops new insights into solutions that result in organizational improvements; promotes a work environment that fosters creative thinking, innovation and rational risk taking Balances Immediate and Long-Term Priorities: Seeks to meet critical objectives while considering the impact of those decisions and activities on the ability to achieve long-term goals Delivers Results: Focuses on the critical few objectives that add the most value and channels own and others' energy to consistently deliver results that meet or exceed expectations Imports and Exports Good Ideas: Relentlessly seeks, shares, and adopts ideas and best practices in and outside the Company and embraces change introduced by others Make the complex simple - through brainstorms, workshop, and educational summits, you empower others to learn and action your lessons Effectively field immediate questions, while also addressing the bigger picture by connecting and influencing key stakeholders inside and outside of GEICO LOCATION:Hybrid - 3 days/weekGEICO Office locationChevy Chase, MDNew York City, NYChicago, IL#LI-MA1
