  Summary:

  Responsible for financial analysis and modeling. Manages the financial analysis projects. Provides key financial analysis and reporting. Manages staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

  Additional Information:

  The ideal candidate will have:

  3-5 years of experience in Healthcare Accounting and/or Healthcare Analytical experience

  3-5 years of experience working directly with Medicare cost reports

  1 year of leadership experience is required

  Required Education:

  Bachelor's Degree

  Description

  Responsible for management of all activities related to the Medicare & Medicaid Cost reports, Graduate Medical Education reimbursement, and all government agencies associated with these activities. This includes regulatory and compliance research, analysis, support and implementation of reports.

  Responsible for decision support projects financial in nature, related to new and expanded service, revenue optimization, quality improvement, service line analysis, regulatory & reimbursement guidance; project deliverable data is clearly communicated, understood and executed.

  Prepares and presents both written and oral reports regarding the status of financial projects, ensuring appropriate methodologies for compilation of collection rates in aggregate, by department, or by payor.

  Manages the compilation of accurate data, forecasts and other trend analysis in collaboration with other departments. Identifies, analyzes and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth and productivity.

  Directs and guides staff in safety, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives. Has full authority of personnel actions.

  Performs other duties as assigned.
