  Position Summary: The role is to drive central demand and supply planning process for Chemicals who will leading E2E cycle of Chemicals, including E & O, Inventory, DOS, SIOP, and APO which will ultimately bring excellent customer allegiance.

  Job Functions and Accountabilities:

  Demand Planning:

  Responsible for generating monthly and quarterly firm and rolling forecast post discussion with commercial team on consensus forecasting numbers for chemicals division.

  Responsible to define MTS and MTO product classification to achieve right inventory as per the AOP

  Responsible for finalizing production plans for Qualigens on monthly basis.

  Responsible to drive SIOP process which includes sales, production, and product management team to align entire demand and supply and generate the consensus forecast and further upload in APO to release final forecast.

  Responsible for close coordination with other procurement planners in terms of sharing the forecast and issue resolution.

  Responsible for developing the ROP level to meet proper balance.

  Responsible for coordination with APAC team for APO issue resolution on time-to-time basis

  Communicate updated forecast assumptions to the finance and supply chain leaders

  Measure and report forecast accuracy, propose, and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy.

  Leading execution calls for chemicals.

  Responsible for monthly revenue blocker updation to support the revenue numbers.

  Drive SIOP

  Responsible for Coordination with Respective planner to prepare the SIOP data for their category.

  Consolidate the data and deep analysis to prepare the final data.

  Analysis on Key gaps in revenue at category and SKU level mitigation plan

  Meeting coordination with Commercial team, Product team and other team in 1st Physical week

  Present the SIOP deck to Commercial team, Product team and inform on base line and Sales forecast, Back-order coverage, Ground inventory, issue and challenges and any Open issue.

  Draft the MOM and publish the Final number and MOM.

  Advise the action item of SIOP meeting respective key member and take the follow ups as per the timeline.

  Follow-up Closure of Action item from respective key member.

  To have a close review of forecast to control on generation of new E&O

  Supply Planning:

  Defining the Safety stock levels across network and supervise them per stocking norms.

  Generation of daily MRP through SAP / APO considering forecast for the month.

  Ensure timely placement of orders, follow-up for materials, track delivery.

  Ensure there are no controllable stock out of materials.

  Inventory investment / planning MTO inventory through decision paper only

  Responsible for preparation of shippable backlog on quarterly basis on first day of quarter

  Responsible for reviewing the entire network inventory from demand and supply hygiene point of view drive the route cause analysis and subsequent corrective action.

  Responsible for suggesting network inventory realignment to the respective planner.

  Share the entire transparency to customer service team to create customer wise transparency for commercial team.

  Follow up with import team to clear the consignment, with warehouse for material GRN and supervise the delivery date.e

  Data Analytics and Process Improvements

  Bring Data science experience to analyze various datasets and to come up with the observations.

  Responsible to support line manager for business analytics from demand and supply point of view

  Use various techniques to automate the reports and analysis.

  Responsible to support line manager for business analytics for ongoing projects directly related to planning and procurement function.

  Responsible to support line manager for preparing presentation as per the business requirement.

  Continuous Improvement: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI)

  Inventory Management

  Drive the Inventory Planning as per the AOP

  Continue to Supervise the SKU/Location level DOS performance.

  Engage with commercial for Slow Moving and Non-Moving stock.

  Excess inventory re-shuffling within existing network.

  To have a good hold on chemicals DOS and Inventory to be on target by looking at Inventory entitlement data

  People Management

  Work across teams to develop the team, hire, recruit and evaluate talent to achieve the strategy.

  Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with a team

  Optimally evaluate and communicate people performance.

  SKU variance

  LOTC (Suppler Fill Rate)

  DOS (Days of stock)

  Visibility Accuracy

  Factory performance

  Note : Tracking bowler for all KRAs on monthly basis.
