Reference #: R13875Manage the functions of Systems Analysts, including developing codes, following SDLC and SOPs/Working Practices, employee training, and programming resource for Clinical Data Operations (CDO) and other departments as neededESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate activities with other staff in CDO and other departments including SA in other offices.
Discuss and agree on procedures to prepare and transfer data to sponsors. Present to the Director for the approval of new procedures.
Tracking of departmental metrics.
Manage team of Systems Analysts
Develop the orientation and training plan for Systems Analysts
Oversee the training of new Systems Analysts
Act as resource to Systems Analysts to resolve issues/answer system and process questions
Drive client deliverables
Organize team resources to meet client needs
Attend Project Management / Data Management / CDO meetings
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform timely and quality review of all direct reports.
In conjunction with the entire department, recommend, develop and implement SOPs for improved CDO Procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED: (Key wording should include if degree is needed, any travel requirements, special qualifications needed, skills, etc.)
Education:
BS/MS in computer sciences or related field.
Experience:
Understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development process.
Strong organization, analytical and communication skills.
Detail-oriented.
Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office products.
Experience with DB programming is a plus.
Minimum five years experience in BASE SAS products and procedures and one year experience in database design and data structures.
Minimum of three years professional work experience within Clario or very similar organization.
