Job Description Summary
The Participant Engagement & Education, Channel Marketing Manager supports Transamerica’s Retirement Education Planning Services ability to provide financial and retirement plan education. The person in this role develops content, webinars, presentations, Financial Wellness resources that support 1:1s and presentations to help retirement plan participants optimize retirement plans, improve retirement income security, and deliver positive Your Retirement Outlook® forecasts.
You will design and implement omni-channel marketing campaign strategies, webinars, presentations, podcasts, etc. to promote retirement plan engagement and/or the sale of company products and services in [annuities, life insurance, mutual funds, employee benefits, retirement]. Drive participant engagement with financial professionals through behavioral science, heuristic principles, product marketing, brand affinity, and the launch of new products/solutions.
This role supports Transamerica’s service delivery model to provide participants access to Transamerica’s Retirement Education Planning Services, retirement plan benefit communications, and OnTrack® omni-channel participant engagement program on behalf of the plan sponsor client in support of client defined plan health goals and metrics. The person in this role is responsible for creating segmented and targeted, content that fuels the participant journey and drives engagement with the OnTrack® Program, registered Retirement Planning Consultants, and advice center financial planners.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Partner with Sr. Manager, OnTrack® Channel Marketing leader and Sr. Director, Retirement Education to create strategic campaign plans, establish customer goals, and define key performance metrics.
Lead in-house creative services in the design, build, and implementation of multiple complex and concurrent campaigns, content formats, and program deliverables.
Leverage adult learning methodologies to define target audiences and create programs, content, webinars, and podcasts that drive engagement relevant to the audience.
Track and evaluate program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods.
Ensure adherence to established processes and workflows related to end-to-end campaign strategy, creative execution, optimizing for performance, and troubleshooting; define new processes and workflows as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure delivery of superior customer service and operational excellence.
Serve as internal escalation point for campaign related issues.
Qualifications
This position plays a key role in Transamerica’s transformation and status as a top-tier recordkeeper in the marketplace; with a focus on modern participant experiences that drive business success factor KPIs and plan health metrics. What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or equivalent experience.
Eight years of marketing communications, digital marketing, or project management experience.
Three years of marketing experience in financial services or a related industry.
Thorough understanding of traditional and digital platforms.
Experience managing projects/processes.
Broad experience developing and executing digital campaigns and complex projects.
Technical acumen to design campaigns that optimize the use of marketing platforms.
Analytical and decision-making skills to identify and prioritize critical issues.
Creative thinker.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Financial services experience and acumen with strategic marketing and communications experience, retirement plan provider product knowledge, retirement plan health KPI insights, and client relationship management skills to help improve retirement readiness for the firm’s plan sponsor clients’ employee base.
Experience with sales, team selling, client relationship management, and positioning key services to large – mega-market retirement plan sponsors and advisors.
Intermediary or institutional experience.
Project management skills. Familiarity with content management systems and/or architecture, workflow and other marketing tools such as CMD, CRM, DAM, Workflow, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Workfront, SharePoint, Seismic, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Experience in change management.
Working Conditions
Work from Home/Remote*Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation. *
Compensation:The salary for this position generally ranges between $95,000 - 125,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Bonus Eligibility: This position is also typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 15%
