Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
We are seeking a Genesys PureConnect IT Manager who wants to be part of a high-caliber team supporting our 26 contact centers at Cardinal Health! In this servant leadership role, you'll be responsible for leading a team of technology experts that support the current on-prem Genesys platform, in both the build and run capacities. This role is also heavy in client interactions and client relationship building so communication and presentation skills are crucial.
Responsibilities
Develop and cultivate trusted relationships with key clientsEnsure Run and Build Teams are working at a high levelLead projects from conception to execution, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Collaborate with enterprise architecture, operations leadership, and other teams to design and implement solutions.Provide thought leadership and guidance to internal stakeholders on best practices for Genesys PureConnect.Demonstrate knowledge of software development techniques, software languages, system integrations, and hardware/software platformsUtilize knowledge of the software development life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents.Plan and execute system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts; problem solves any system issues effectively and timelyQualifications
8-12 years of experience preferredBA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred. Advance Degree may be required.4+ years of experience leading high-performing technology project teams preferredExperience using and/or developing the Genesys PureConnect platformProven experience working on $1m+ projects as a BA, technical engineer or leaderUnderstanding of how Customer Service works in relation to telephony platformsStrong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and quality standards.Ability to develop individuals and teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Excellent organizational skillsHigh energy level, a team player, and a self-starter.What is expected of you and others at this level
