　　We are currently seeking a Manager, Analytics to join our team of skilled professionals in our IT department, who will proactively and holistically help guide all analytics initiatives as well as support the formulation of BI/Analytics strategy. The scope of activities includes helping responsible for the comprehensive efforts related to the design, implementation, and operation of BI/Analytics systems. The successful incumbent will take a lead role in driving BI/Analytics strategy and ensuring the department meets organizational goals where the focus is to:

　　Drive the evolution of the Data Warehouse model.

　　Own the Business Intelligence and Analysis portfolio.

　　This role is based On-site in Mississauga, ON . and reports to the Director, Global IT Strategy and Merger & Acquisitions.

　　Business Intelligence and Analytics

　　Analyse and project the performance and reporting on the progress and effectiveness of all Business Intelligence and Analytics projects and programs, with a particular focus and expertise reporting to HSS Leadership and Executive teams.

　　Present business intelligence and analytics solutions in an efficient and easily understandable way to a wide variety of audience and users, using various reporting formats and web technologies.

　　Research new tools, systems, and practices to recommend ongoing improvements in the Business Intelligence and Analytics ecosystem.

　　Develop and prepare strategies for Business Intelligence and Analytics processes for the organization.

　　Perform assessment of all Business Intelligence and Analytics requirements and develops long term strategy for various solutions and deliverables.

　　Work closely with business and IT stakeholders. Understand the business requirements, application systems, limitations and constraints, company’s policies.

　　Data Warehouse

　　Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of data warehouse infrastructure necessary to collect, store, report and analyze data and trend related to HSS' different lines of business.

　　Design and lead the development of data models, data definitions and reporting methodologies.

　　Oversee the overall design and support of the Data Warehouse environment, including data acquisition, transformation, management, warehousing and delivery of data.

　　Coaching and Monitoring

　　Manage and work with Business Intelligence architects and developers to build standard development processes and reusable components.

　　Monitor work of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team and ensures effective implementation of all Business Intelligence and Analytics projects to achieve all client’s objectives.

　　Provide Business Intelligence and Analytics training to the business users and IT teams.

　　Monitor and guide the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, installing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, driving the development of technical expertise within the team and facilitating their growth.

　　Drive the creation of data-centric culture within our high-growth environment, influencing teams across the whole HSS organization to prioritize data-informed decision-making and fostering a company-wide appreciation of Business Intelligence and Analytics.

　　Plan and Manage the Business Intelligence Portfolio

　　Own all Business Intelligence and Analytics projects including reporting of status and escalation of issues to leadership and executive teams.

　　Document all Business Intelligence processes to create projects, including framework, governance and standard documentation and guidelines.

　　Showcase and present all Business Intelligence and Analytics ecosystem promoting the usage of HSS Business Intelligence and Analytics tools.

　　OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

　　Minimum of 10 years of overall IT experience in hands-on Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data Warehouse related projects with managerial experience being atleast 5 years

　　Ten or more years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment.

　　Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.

　　Extensive experience of delivering Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions out of complex underlying data, enterprise datasets and multi-system integrations.

　　Hands on experience with Power BI, SQL, ETL of ELT (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, etc.)

　　Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse methodologies, Conceptual/Logical/Physical data modeling, data engineering design and development, and Business Intelligence and Analytics visualization solution design and development.

　　Working experience with Azure data services such as Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL Database, SQL Datawarehouse, Synapse.

　　Proven working knowledge of project deliverable methodologies such as Agile and on Cloud based applications.

　　Experience working with the manufacturing and/or building industries is desired.

　　Understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments.

　　Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills.

　　Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

　　Organizationally savvy, with situational and contextual intelligence of the political climate of the enterprise and how to navigate obstacles and politics.

　　Rapidly comprehends the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
