　　St. Lukes Health–Sugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston. Our services range from heart care and neuroscience to robotic surgery. Our recently opened Family Birthing Center offers incomparable care and amenities in a spa-like environment to provide a VIP—Very Important Pregnancy—experience. 　　Responsibilities

　　Performs a variety of routine mammography related procedures by operating x-ray equipment on designated areas. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

　　Preferred: Mammography experience in a Critical Access Hospital

　　Capable of obtaining quality mammograms and radiographs using proper exposure, markers, and shielding, and knows how to use portable x-ray machines and c-arms.

　　Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedure

　　Able to perform all Mammography exams including localizations/stereotactic biopsies, print images, and perform CAD on digital images.

　　Able to use CR reader, erase CR cassettes, send images from CR reader, and perform image manipulation as necessary.

　　Able to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations. Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD’s, transfer images, and print from PACS.

　　Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms

　　Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the department

　　Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies

　　Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures

　　Qualifications

　　Required:

　　Graduate o an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic Technology

　　Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Licensed by the North Dakota Society of Radiologic Technologists (RT), Certification for Mammography (M), and Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS)

　　Pay Range

　　$30.55 - $44.30 /hour
