Job Description

　　Insight Global is seeking an Inpatient Medical Coder to be an integral part of our clients team, coding all inpatient encounters for 6 hospitals, which involves a large variety of charges. The coder will be responsible for checking 3 work queues in the Epic system multiple times a day. The coder is expected to achieve a productivity rate of 2.1 accounts per hour with 95% DRG accuracy. Sharepoint will be a pivotal system used and it is expected for each coder to be resourceful in problem solving. This role is fully remote with a flexible schedule and plenty of opportunity for growth within the company. The coder will be joining a team with a positive culture of care and accountability.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Active CCS certification (may have CPC, RHIT, or RHIA if willing to get CCS within 1 year)

　　 1-3 years of inpatient coding experience

　　 ICD-10 PCS Experience

　　 Strong OB coding background

　　 Strong Cardiology background

　　 Experience with IVR coding

　　 Experience with Internal Medicine coding (congestive heart failure, pneumonia cases, joint replacements, etc.)

　　 Technologically capable able to troubleshoot through basic computer issues

　　 Team player & welcoming of feedback

　　 Two managerial references Trauma level I coding experience

　　 Double certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT) null
